Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest:

You are trying to find favor with God by what you do or don't do on certain days or months or seasons or years.

~ Galatians 4:10

So don't let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new-moon ceremonies or Sabbaths. 17 For these rules were only shadows of the real thing, Christ himself.

Rest : Cessation of work, exertion, or activity; Peace, ease, or refreshment resulting from sleep or the cessation of an activity; Sleep or quiet relaxation.

1. You’ve got to go to the right place to get what you want

.

For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called 27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

2. Rest is a gift from Jesus

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
