Since the early 20th century, Christmas has also been a secular family holiday, observed by Christians and non-Christians alike, devoid of Christian elements, and marked by an increasingly elaborate exchange of gifts. In this secular Christmas celebration, a mythical figure named Santa Claus plays the pivotal role.

1 - Jesus came because God sent Him

2 - Jesus came so that everyone who believes in Him could be saved and have eternal life in heaven

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. 10 This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.

3 - Jesus came to take away our sins

“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.”

4 - Jesus came to show us what God is like

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,
